A black-and-white shot of an infinity pool reflecting closed beach umbrellas overlooking the Indian Ocean in Mombasa, Kenya.
A row of six beach umbrellas photographed in black and white along the edge of an infinity pool overlooking a calm sea. The umbrellas are evenly spaced, their conical canopies mirrored in the still pool water below as diamond-shaped reflections. A few empty lounge chairs sit beneath the umbrellas on the left and right. In the distance, a small boat floats on the flat, hazy water, with a faint horizon line separating sea and sky. A black-and-white photograph of several giraffes gathered beneath the shade of two sprawling acacia trees on the open savanna. Some stand while others rest on the ground, their long necks and legs creating a rhythmic pattern against the dry grass. Above them, a vast sky filled with billowing clouds dominates the upper half of the frame, emphasising the openness of the landscape. Kenya.A black-and-white photograph capturing a giraffe in close-up, its neck extended and head tilted back as it reaches into the thorny branches of an acacia tree to feed. The interplay of the giraffe's patterned coat against the tangled silhouette of branches creates a striking, textured composition. Kenya.A black-and-white photograph capturing the calm before a storm on the plains of the Maasai Mara, Kenya. Three zebras stand in the lower portion of the frame — two facing the camera directly, one grazing with its head lowered — set against a vast, darkening sky. A dim sun glows faintly through thickening storm clouds, casting a heavy, atmospheric light over the scene as the zebras wait out the stillness before the weather breaks.
Monochrome reflections. A black-and-white capture of the pool at Mövenpick Hotel Nairobi, where the metal-and-rope bridge stretches across the water, creating striking geometric reflections. I couldn't take my eyes off the way the light, lines, and water came together—one of those scenes that keeps drawing you back for another look.A monochrome photo of the Yatta Plateau, a volcanic lava flow formed from slow-moving basaltic lava originating from Ol Doinyo Sabuk Mountain, located near Nairobi, Kenya.A black-and-white photograph of two café tables turned upside down, their bases raised in the air and tabletops resting against the tiled wall of a street corner in London. The scene sits outside a Turkish restaurant, its scalloped tile facade and ornate lamppost lending texture to the composition. The empty street and closed shopfront in the background give the image a still, quiet, end-of-day atmosphere.
